Engineers of the future
Richard Alan Engineering has hired six new apprentices at its base in Shaw Cross Business Park.
The company, part of the Richard Alan Group, has signed up to the Entice Project, which matches students to businesses for apprenticeships.

Hide AdThe trainees joined the engineering and manufacturing firm at the end of September and were given a tool bag and the eqipment they needed to start work on several projects.
The apprentices were introduced to Dewsbury MP Simon Reevell during a recent visit to the firm.
Richard Alan Group managing director Robert Johnson said: “We love taking on local apprentices.
“It’s great to see the next generation of engineers grow and develop the skills they’ll need in the industry.
“We have such a wide variety of projects at any one time, it gives all our apprentices an opportunity to work on different parts and equipment.”
