Richard Gibson will take on the 26-mile challenge on Sunday to raise money for Alopecia UK, as his wife Louise suffers from the condition.
Mr Gibson said: “My wife has alopecia universalis which means no hair all over the body.

“For this reason I wanted to set myself a massive challenge to show her just how much.”
Mr Gibson has juggled his marathon training with the arrival of his first child and moving house from London to Dewsbury to start a new job.
Nevertheless, he completed a 20-mile run at the weekend and is looking forward to the race.
