Winners bring Lottery cheer
Graham and Amanda Nield, who were living in Hanging Heaton when they scooped the £6,676 Lotto jackpot in August, are celebrating their first Christmas as winners.
And they decided to share their good fortune with the Leeds-based charity the Ciaran Bingham Foundation Trust by dropping into its Christmas party with a sackful of gifts.

The Nields, who met while working at Autoneum in Heckmondwike, provided 100 goody bags for those at the party.
Amanda said: “Winning the lottery has enabled me to spend more time with my parents so it’s nice to be able to give time and support to other elderly people who can often feel lonely and isolated, even more so at Christmas.”
And Bradford community charity the Hive was visited by Dewsbury Lottery winners Susan and Michael Crossland who won £2.8m in 2008.

They put up decorations transforming the centre into a winter wonderland, prepared a Christmas lunch for the volunteers and led singing.
Susan said: “This has been a truly excellent start to Christmas. Being able to help out has been a humbling experience and I hope that through our visit everyone at the Hive will feel recognised for the brilliant work they do.”
